About the Role

The Mechanical Engineer will be part of the multidisciplinary team and take place in the design of innovative medical devices as well as assist with product assembly, testing, validation and documentation. In addition to R&D activities, the candidate will take an active role in investigations of field complaints.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and document field complaints
• Participate in the mechanical design and development of the company’s products
• Generate solid models, drawings, and specifications
• Design of new concepts, fixtures, and test jigs, and use 3D printer to execute
• Prepare and execute tests to verify the design and the performance
• Provide technical assistance in R&D activities
• Create presentations and documents according to the company’s standards

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• CAD software experience, Solidworks preferred
• Self-learner and well organized
• Willingness to enter the medical device industry
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
• English – excellent written and verbal communication skills
