System Engineer

Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring a Systems Engineer for a defense organization in Central Israel

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join a leading defense organization and take part in complex, multidisciplinary projects.

Role Overview

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for end-to-end system definition and coordination across development, integration, and testing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define system requirements and software processes

• Write detailed requirement and design documents

• Work closely with development, integration, and QA teams in a matrix structure

• Lead design reviews and present solutions to customers

• Support Verification & Validation (V&V) processes

• Occasionally travel to sites In Israel and abroad

Requirements

• Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one

• 5+ years of proven engineering experience in complex system engineering

• Experience working in matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders

• High level of English proficiency

• Basic knowledge of SQL and MATLAB
