As we scale, we’re seeking a Technical SEO expert who can combine deep SEO knowledge with analytical rigor and automation skills to drive growth across hundreds of locales and millions of pages.

Job Description:

We’re looking for a technically-savvy SEO professional who thrives on solving complex problems and optimizing large-scale sites. You’ll work under the Head of SEO, and also closely with the development, product, and content teams to implement, monitor, and improve technical SEO strategies. Your work will include site crawls, technical SEO QA audits, leveraging automation, and using diverse datasets and AI tools to inform strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ongoing technical SEO QA audits across large-scale platforms, identifying and resolving issues before they impact search performance.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to create pre-development SEO requirements, implement fixes and verify SEO-critical releases.
• Testing locale-specific implementations such as hreflang tags, localized content, URL structures, and region-specific SEO settings.
• Use automation tools, scripts, and AI to scale SEO research, reporting, and issue detection.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth.
• Conduct structured data, schema, site architecture, crawlability, indexability, and performance testing.
• Build and maintain reporting that allow the team to measure and act on SEO performance efficiently and at scale.
• Stay up to date with search engine algorithms, industry trends, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative strategies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in technical SEO, preferably in large-scale or programmatic sites.
• Proficient in crawling large sites and analyzing log files.
• Experience performing technical SEO QA, audits, and identifying necessary fixes across multiple teams.
• Experience with QA processes that ensure consistent functionality and SEO performance across multiple locales.
• Strong experience with SEO tools and datasets (e.g., Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, JetOctopus, Ahrefs, SEMrush, DataforSEO, SQL, and more).
• Experience integrating AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or other LLMs into SEO research, audits, and reporting to scale insights and automation, and converting these to actionable next steps.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with development, product, content, and QA teams.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient, able to manage multiple QA tasks and releases across teams while maintaining speed and accuracy.
• Strong English language skills
