The Role: Fraud & Risk Analyst

We are looking for a sharp, data-driven Fraud & Risk Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our ecosystem by identifying suspicious activities and optimizing our detection systems. You will play a critical part in protecting the integrity of our games and ensuring a fair environment for our global player base.

Key Responsibilities

• Behavioral Monitoring: Actively track and analyze player behavior to detect patterns associated with fraud, exploitation, or system abuse.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify "loopholes" or vulnerabilities within the game economy and platform, proposing actionable solutions to close them.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate and validate bugs that could lead to financial or operational risk, working closely with the development team to implement fixes.
• Data Investigation: Utilize advanced analytical tools to conduct deep-dive investigations into high-risk accounts and suspicious transaction trends.
• System Optimization: Help refine and automate our internal monitoring tools to improve the speed and accuracy of fraud detection.
  
  

• Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a Fraud, Risk, or Data Analysis role, preferably within the online gaming or FinTech sectors.
• Technical Essentials: Expert-level proficiency in SQL is a non-negotiable requirement for this position.
• Analytical Mindset: Highly data-oriented with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, risk-based insights.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for identifying anomalies and a methodical approach to checking system integrity and bugs.
  
  

• Programming Skills: Significant experience with Python for data manipulation and automated analysis is a major advantage.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with common fraud typologies in mobile gaming or digital payments.
