Sheba Medical Center is seeking an experienced Team Lead – IT Technicians to join the Information Systems & Digital Division.
This role involves leading a professional technical support team within the Service Center, ensuring operational continuity, delivering high-quality service across the organization, resolving infrastructure and endpoint issues, and supporting cross-organizational technological projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the IT service technicians team: task allocation, prioritization, performance monitoring, and professional mentoring.
- Work closely with the Service Manager and IT & Digital Division stakeholders.
- Manage and distribute security updates for Windows 10/11 operating systems, handle failed updates and upgrades, and lead version upgrade processes.
- Monitor and remove local admin privileges on workstations; manage password reset processes for public users; support and implement Microsoft Office 2021 & Microsoft 365.
- Oversee implementation and ongoing management of EPROC systems.
- Manage, support, and monitor the MAWI system.
- Support, manage, and control video systems in the Control Tower environment.
- Accompany and implement cross-organizational technology projects, including systems deployment, end-user equipment rollout, AI-based solutions, and IT infrastructure initiatives.
- Coordinate with external vendors: procurement processes, quotations, equipment supply, and incident resolution.
- Participate in status meetings, report progress, escalate risks, and provide professional solutions.
- Ensure compliance with information security policies, IT governance standards, and organizational procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a technical support or IT operations team.
- Strong hands-on IT knowledge: end-user equipment, operating systems, networking, and basic infrastructure.
- Ability to work in a multi-interface, matrix environment.
- High service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong prioritization, decision-making, and systems-thinking capabilities.
- Experience with ticketing/service management systems – advantage.
