We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Engineer to lead our digital transformation and migrate our organizational data assets to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will be a key player in building our modern data stack, transitioning from On-Premise systems to a high-scale cloud environment, and developing sophisticated data layers to drive business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Migration & Ingestion: Lead the end-to-end ingestion of data from core On-Premise systems into the GCP environment.
• Data Architecture: Design and develop processed data layers (Data Marts) within BigQuery, implementing complex business logic to support analytical needs.
• Pipeline Orchestration: Build and maintain robust data pipelines and scheduling infrastructures using Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow.
• ETL/ELT Development: Write clean, efficient code and scripts for data transformation, cleansing, and unification, ensuring top-tier Data Quality.
• Performance Optimization: Craft high-performance SQL queries in BigQuery with a focus on cost-efficiency and execution speed.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architectures, schemas, and pipeline processes.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in Data Engineering.
• GCP Expertise: Hands-on, significant experience developing and implementing solutions within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — Mandatory.
• BigQuery Mastery: Deep knowledge of data modeling, complex SQL writing, and performance optimization within BigQuery — Mandatory.
• Workflow Tooling: Proven experience with Python and developing Airflow DAGs.
• Dataform: Practical experience with Dataform for managing SQL workflows — Mandatory.
• Storage Solutions: Experience working with Cloud Storage (GCS) and other GCP databases (e.g., Cloud SQL).
• Data Architect Mindset: Strong understanding of Data Lakes and Warehouse design patterns.
