Our research operates at the interface of:

We combine fundamental interfacial science with advanced materials design to develop particle-stabilized systems, including Pickering emulsions and functional interfacial platforms for food and biomedical applications.

Current research directions include:

• Nanocarrier systems for DNA and RNA delivery to plants and fungi
• Magnetic emulsions for foodborne pathogen detection
• Magnetic surface rollers for biomedical applications
• Hybrid living materials for controlled probiotic incorporation
• Superhydrophobic anti-biofilm surfaces for enhanced food safety

We seek highly motivated candidates with strong academic training and genuine scientific curiosity. Prior experience in food science and biotechnology is strongly preferred. Experience in emulsions, colloids, polymers, and nanomaterials will be considered an advantage.
