Financial Controller (Maternity Cover)

Elbit Systems is looking for an Accountant for a temporary position (maternity leave replacement) at the Haifa site — a challenging and unique role offering extensive exposure and hands‑on experience in the business and financial domain

Main Responsibilities

Work closely with financial managers and project managers, gaining a deep understanding of the company’s business processes

Handle VAT, income tax, permanent establishment, and transfer pricing issues in Israel and abroad

Participate in complex transactions including financing, hedging, and startup investments

Collaborate with the Israel Innovation Authority and the Investment Center

Conduct ongoing work with subsidiaries abroad and the corporate headquarters in Haifa

Requirements

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Graduate of one of the BIG 4 accounting firms

At least 3 years of experience in a medium‑sized or large company providing business financial support — Mandatory

Versatility and flexible thinking — Mandatory

High‑level English proficiency — Mandatory
