Senior Embedded Tech Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of embedded software running on NVIDIA Jetson platforms, leveraging CUDA for GPU-accelerated workloads
• Own board bring-up activities — bootloader configuration, peripheral validation, driver development, and hardware-software integration
• Architect and optimize DSP pipelines for real-time sensor data processing, filtering, and fusion
• Build, customize, and maintain Yocto-based Linux distributions tailored for production deployment
• Own performance profiling, optimization, and debugging across CPU, GPU, and DSP domains

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional embedded software development experience
• Expert-level C++ (C++17/20) — deep understanding of memory management, concurrency, real-time constraints, and modern idioms
• NVIDIA Jetson platform experience (Orin/Xavier) — CUDA kernel development, JetPack SDK, TensorRT integration
• DSP fundamentals — real-time signal processing, filter design, FFT, sensor data conditioning
• Board bring-up experience — U-Boot/bootloader, device tree configuration, peripheral drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN), hardware debugging (JTAG, logic analyzers)
• Yocto Project / OpenEmbedded — custom layer creation, recipe development, BSP integration, and image optimization
• Strong understanding of Linux internals — kernel modules, device drivers, systemd, real-time scheduling
• Experience with cross-compilation toolchains, debugging embedded targets, and remote development workflows
• Proven track record of technical leadership — architecture ownership, mentoring, and driving engineering excellence

Nice to Have

• Rust experience — especially in embedded/systems contexts (no_std, embedded-hal, safe concurrency patterns)
• Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262, DO-178C)
• Exposure to ZeroMQ, gRPC, Protobuf, or inter-service/inter-process communication in embedded environments
• Experience with AWS IoT,or cloud-edge hybrid architectures
