Director of Engineering

We are seeking a Director, Engineering to lead our engineering center in Israel. This leader

will manage a team of engineers focused on delivering fast, innovative, and technically sound

interconnect solutions to meet urgent customer needs. The ideal candidate will bring a strong

technical background in interconnects, coupled with commercial awareness and

customer-facing experience. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance technical

depth, team leadership, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead and develop a team of engineers in the engineering center,

fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and speed.

● Oversee the design, prototyping, and validation of interconnect solutions to meet short

lead-time customer requirements.

● Serve as the technical and commercial interface between customers and internal teams,

ensuring customer needs are fully understood and met.

● Partner closely with sales and product management to define requirements, support

customer engagements, and drive new opportunities.

● Establish and maintain engineering best practices to ensure high-quality and repeatable

results under compressed timelines.

● Stay current with interconnect technologies, applications, and market trends to inform

customer solutions and strategic direction.

● Ensure effective resource allocation, project prioritization, and timely delivery of

engineering commitments.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline (Master’s

preferred).

● 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in interconnect solutions

(connectors, cable assemblies, or related systems).

● Previous experience in applications engineering, customer engineering, or a

commercial-facing technical role strongly preferred.

● Proven leadership experience managing and developing engineering teams.

● Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to translate customer requirements

into engineered solutions.

● Commercial acumen, with experience collaborating with sales, product management,

and customers to drive business outcomes.

● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

● Fluent in English and Hebrew.
