Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring a System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join a professional infrastructure team managing enterprise-scale environments across on-prem and cloud platforms.

Role Overview

This position involves working with operating systems, storage, backup systems, and virtual infrastructures in complex server environments (WinTel / UNIX / large-scale servers).

Key Responsibilities:

• Administration of Windows and/or Linux operating systems

• Management of enterprise storage and backup systems

• Deployment and operation of VMware-based virtual infrastructures

• Administration of storage platforms (NetApp – FAS, AFF, E-Series)

• Cloud environment support (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Backup system management (advantage: Veeam Backup)

• Basic networking troubleshooting and infrastructure support

• Independent operation within enterprise IT environments

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a System Administrator

• Proven experience with VMware vSphere infrastructure (deployment, management, operations)

• Experience with NetApp storage systems (FAS / AFF / E-Series)

• Hands-on experience managing Windows and Linux operating systems

• Familiarity with Cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)

• Experience with backup systems (Veeam – advantage)

• Basic networking knowledge (OSI model, protocols, ports)
