Certification Team Lead

A leading technology company is seeking an experienced Certification Team Lead to lead the company’s regulatory and product certification activities.

This is a strategic and impactful role with full responsibility for ensuring company products comply with stringent international certification standards.

The position includes supporting product development processes from the early design stages through final approvals, as well as ongoing collaboration with certification laboratories locally and worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple technological certification and regulatory programs simultaneously
• Develop and execute comprehensive certification plans for existing and new products
• Work closely with the R&D department to ensure regulatory compliance from the early design stages
• Manage certification processes within defined budgets and timelines
• Collaborate with certification laboratories locally and internationally to define requirements and ensure successful first-time approval
• Monitor and stay up to date with new standards and regulatory changes
• Participate in regulatory and certification committees
• Oversee annual certification maintenance processes

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
• Experience as an RF Engineer
• At least 2 years of experience managing a Certification team
• Strong knowledge of international standards: FCC, EC, UL, PTCRB, and preferably EN
• Familiarity with EU regulatory frameworks, including RED and CRA – a significant advantage
• Experience working with certification laboratories locally and globally
• Experience working with international customers
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to improve documentation, analysis, and project execution efficiency
• Willingness to travel abroad
• Fluent English
• Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills
