Procurement Buyer - Machining

Job Description:

• Local and global purchasing in a production and development environment, with focus on machined mechanical parts.
• Conducting negotiations and closing agreements with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring quality, cost and delivery objectives are met.
• Sourcing, qualifying and developing suppliers in Israel and abroad.
• Close collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Project Management from requirement definition through order closure.
• Managing purchase orders, monitoring and expediting until full delivery.
• Working with product trees (BOM), pricing parts and assemblies, preparing reports and analysing procurement data.
• Initiating and leading cost reduction activities.

Requirements:

• Relevant academic degree (Business Administration / Logistics / Industrial Engineering) – advantage.
• 4 years of proven procurement experience in a production / development environment.
• Experience working with machining subcontractors (CNC, milling, turning, precision parts).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems (PRIORITY – advantage).
• High level of English.
