About this opportunity
Align Technology ATE team is looking for a highly creative Sr Software Tech Lead to develop automated test equipment for medical product production. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on Python programming for hardware interface solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient testing systems that meet stringent medical industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will…
- Development of automated test equipment software, with hardware\Optics\Algo integration.
- Drive technical decisions and mentor team members on best practices in software development.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and production teams to deliver reliable and compliant solutions.
- Explore and adopt new technologies to enhance testing capabilities and efficiency.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
In this role, you’ll need …
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Python.
- Object-Oriented Design and Development.
- Hardware-software integration.
- Leadership and team collaboration.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven experience in Object-Oriented Development-advantage.
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces and automated testing systems -advantage
- Experience in regulated environments (medical devices or similar) is a plus.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in developing innovative solutions.
