Production Planning & Materiels Planner

Job Description

A leading defense company in Karmiel is looking for a Production Planning & Materials Planner (MPM) to manage material planning within the supply chain.

This role includes full responsibility for planning and logistics processes during the serial production phase, leading cross-functional interfaces, and driving operational KPIs in a professional, advanced, and highly challenging environment with meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage production launches (customer orders) from order receipt through activation in the MRP system

• Manage and control customer forecasts

• Execute planning launches and procurement readiness in line with program / project requirements and targets

• Track material availability from purchase request through full inventory receipt

• Work closely with multiple interfaces, including Engineering, Quality, Program/Project teams, Procurement, Operations, and Warehouses

• Drive achievement of key project KPIs such as OTD, inventory cycle counts, and cost reduction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management or Economics

• At least 2 years of experience in Production Planning (PP&C) or a Supply Chain role

• High proficiency in Excel

• Knowledge of BI tools, ERP systems, and strong data analysis capabilities

• Ability to lead and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a cross-functional environment

• Excellent interpersonal skills, natural curiosity, strong communication skills, and service orientation
