A unique, breakthrough innovation center is tackling the most complex AI and data challenges within the defense sector. This venture is a collaborative initiative backed by several highly successful and well-funded companies, ensuring both startup-like innovation and massive corporate stability.

The mission involves developing mission-critical intelligence analysis solutions for strategic defense clients, contributing directly to national security.

The role is based at a strategic client site in Central Israel. Due to the nature of the work, this is an on-site position (no remote work) and requires security clearance.

Role Overview:

Joining an elite engineering team to build and scale large-scale data pipelines for intelligence analysis.
Developing robust Big Data solutions using distributed computing frameworks.
Orchestrating complex workflows and managing containerized environments.
Working in a mission-driven environment where technological excellence meets national impact.
Collaborating closely with AI researchers and analysts to solve high-stakes data challenges.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in Big Data engineering – Mandatory.
Deep proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, or Python – Mandatory.
Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark – Mandatory.
Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) – Mandatory.
Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) – Significant Advantage.
Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and modern DevOps methodologies.
Ability to work in a high-security, on-site environment and undergo security clearance.
