Logistics Manager

Role Summary: The Logistics Manager will oversee and manages the entire logistics operations, ensuring effective and efficient transactions of goods from suppliers to customers. This role involves coordinating with intercompany teams, and includes various functions- transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics strategic management:
• Develop and implement logistics processes to optimize the supply chain.
• Activate logistics activities with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses
• Shipping-Receiving Management:
• Coordinate the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate and select couriers, negotiate contracts and rates.
• Manage the Company’s global import and export activities.
• Lead customs clearance processes and communication with customs brokers.
• Handle security clearance processes at Ben Gurion Airport.
• Warehouse Operations:
• Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping through the ERP system (NS).
• Ensure compliance with required regulations and warehouse best practices.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
• Implement inventory management systems and processes.
• Collaboration with financial team on inventory cost and reports.
• Ongoing monitoring of stock across multiple locations
• Conduct a stock count (using both methods: cycle Count and full count)

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in logistics management.
• Familiarity with customs procedures, international shipping, and strong expertise in import/export regulations.

Required Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation ability.
• Familiarity with Inco terms.
• Experience with transportation regulations and standards, as well as with Inco Terms.
• Independent and detail oriented.
