Cyber Security Engineer at HexaShield

HexaShield is looking for a highly skilled and driven Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. If you have a deep background in SOC operations, incident response, and a mastery of the Microsoft Security stack, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will act as a senior technical lead, handling escalations from our Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts while spearheading critical security projects to harden our clients’ environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Incident Response: Act as the final point of escalation for high-priority security incidents, performing deep-dive analysis and remediation.

• Security Engineering: Design, implement, and optimize security solutions across diverse client environments.

• Project Leadership: Lead security migrations, posture assessments, and deployment projects from inception to completion.

• Continuous Improvement: Fine-tune detection logic, playbooks, and automation to stay ahead of evolving threats.

Technical Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity field, specifically focusing on:

• Microsoft Security Ecosystem: Expert-level experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft 365 Defender.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on proficiency with Azure (Security Center/Defender for Cloud) and Microsoft Intune.

• SOC & IR: Proven track record in a SOC environment with the ability to manage the full Incident Response lifecycle.

• Querying & Automation: Strong ability to write and optimize KQL (Kusto Query Language) for hunting and detection.
