Embedded Software Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Team Leader to lead a high-impact team developing complex, hardware-centric solutions. This is a senior technical leadership role, combining deep embedded expertise, system-level ownership, and people management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of embedded software engineers (local and/or remote).
• Own architecture, design, and delivery of embedded software and system-level solutions.
• Drive hardware-software integration, including board bring-up and BSP development.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, systems, validation, and operations teams.
• Ensure software quality, robustness, and performance in production systems.
• Promote best practices in development workflows, CI/CD, testing, and documentation.

Required Experience

• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field from a recognized university.
• 8+ years of hands-on embedded software / firmware development.
• 3+ years of team or technical leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in C and C++ programming.
• Proven experience in low-level embedded development, real-time systems, and system-level problem solving.

Specialized Expertise

Option 1 – RTOS / Bare-Metal Focus:

• Deep experience with RTOS, BSP, board bring-up, device drivers, and low-level hardware integration.
• Expertise in real-time software, system initialization, and peripheral interfaces.

Option 2 – Linux / Firmware Focus:

• Extensive experience with Linux-based embedded systems, BSP, bootloader development, and peripheral drivers.
• Familiarity with build systems such as Yocto / Petalinux.
• Knowledge of networking, binary protocols, and production-grade software reliability.
