We are looking for

For Elbit site in Bar-Lev Industrial Zone we are looking for a Head of Quality Engineering Team in the Composites Division to join our team. This is a key leadership role managing quality engineering teams and leading organization-wide quality processes in the aerospace manufacturing domain. In this role you will

Manage a team of quality engineers in aerospace structure production programs

Lead and manage cross-site quality processes including MRB, CAPA, and failure investigations

Ensure Company Products Meet All Customer And Regulatory Requirements

Work daily with peer managers in operations, engineering, and procurement

Prepare quality plans, participate in reviews, write specifications and procedures, and manage communication with internal and external customers

Lead quality forums and coordinate quality meetings as required

Maintain and update the QMS system and company procedures as needed

Oversee and lead quality activities with subcontractors and suppliers including FAI, issue resolution, contractual coordination, and compliance reviews

Lead and manage quality processes in both civil and military aerospace projects

Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with aerospace standards, customer requirements, and company procedures

Prepare and support internal and external quality audits ensuring full regulatory compliance

Report directly to the Head of Quality or VP Quality

Requirements

B.Sc. in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Materials Engineering - Mandatory

Experience managing teams of employees

At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality engineering

Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and FOD AS9146 standards - Advantage

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong self-learning ability and problem-solving orientation

Leadership and capability to drive cross-organizational processes

Experience working with customers and multiple interfaces in Israel and abroad - Advantage

High level of English (reading, writing, and speaking)
