Sales Support Specialist - Optics

Our optics department is growing, and we’re looking for a talented Sales Support Specialist to join our team. Rosh Electroptics, a leading distributor in the optics and electro-optics field, is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Sales Support Specialist. This full-time role is based in Netanya and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, global, and collaborative environment.

Location: Netanya

Full-time: Sunday to Thursday, 08:30–17:30

Work Environment: Office-based, global, dynamic, and family-oriented, including occasional customer meetings coordinated with the sales engineer.

Role Overview

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a key role in the sales process: preparing quotations, managing sales cycles, and supporting the sales team throughout. This position is ideal for someone meticulous, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-sales support handling quotation requests from customers and liaising with suppliers
• Client and vendor communication via email, phone, and Teams
• Preparing price quotations for customers in Israel and working with international suppliers: data collection, pricing, and follow-up
• Coordinating closely with sales engineers from initial inquiry through order confirmation and beyond
• Ensuring fast response times while maintaining a high level of service
• Supporting import processes and technical products (an advantage)

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role (Optics Sales Support, Pre-sales, Procurement, or Quotation handling) is a strong advantage
• Experience working with B2B customers is a strong advantage
• Strong communication skills with both clients and suppliers are required
• High-level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) is mandatory
• Experience with the Priority ERP system is mandatory
• close attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and take initiative is required
• Strong service orientation, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are required
• Quick learner with high motivation and a long-term work mindset
