Surense is looking for a Production-minded Full-Stack Engineer to join our hands-on R&D team. This is a highly technical role focused on owning complex production issues end-to-end, driving root-cause fixes in code, and improving reliability and observability—while also contributing to product engineering when needed.

• Own complex production bugs end-to-end: reproduce, debug, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver permanent fixes
• Develop and ship backend + frontend changes (Java/Spring Boot, React) with high quality standards
• Work closely with R&D, CS, DevOps, and Product to triage issues, prioritize fixes, and improve customer experience
• Improve observability: logs, metrics, dashboards, alerts, and runbooks to reduce recurring issues
• Contribute to stability and performance initiatives across services, APIs, data flows, and integrations
• Support release quality: testing, CI/CD improvements, and safer deployments on AWS (and Kubernetes as applicable)

• 3+ years as a Full-Stack Engineer (strong backend), with production experience – must
• Proven hands-on development in Java (Spring/Spring Boot) – must
• Experience with React
• Strong understanding of web architectures, REST APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and distributed systems
• Solid debugging skills in data-driven systems (logs, traces, DB queries, edge cases)
• AWS experience – must
• Excellent communication, ownership, and prioritization skills
• Experience in Insurance / Fintech – advantage
