We are a new, fast-paced casual gaming startup looking for a creative Concept Artist to help define the visual identity of our upcoming title. You will work closely with the founding team to transform gameplay ideas into vibrant, engaging characters and environments.
The Role
- Design and iterate on high-quality concepts for characters, props, and environments.
- Develop visual guides that provide clear direction for 3D modeling and environment teams.
- Integrate AI-assisted workflows to accelerate ideation and asset generation.
- Collaborate with the founding team to ensure artistic visions are technically feasible for production.
Requirements
- Mandatory: Proven experience in the gaming industry with a strong portfolio showcasing shipped titles or relevant professional projects.
- Expertise in digital painting and illustration software
- A deep understanding of color theory, lighting, and composition tailored for the casual gaming market.
Advantages
- UI/UX Design: Experience designing intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces or game menus.
- Concept for 3D: Experience creating orthographic views, turnarounds, and callout sheets specifically designed for 3D production pipelines.
- AI Workflow: Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance the concepting phase and streamline asset production.
