About the role
A fast-growing cybersecurity startup, backed by an $8M Seed round, is currently expanding its core engineering team.
The company is building an AI-driven product based on smart sensors running on enterprise endpoints. These sensors detect security signals, validate organizational posture, and aggregate insights centrally.
The focus is on building a strong, scalable, production-grade system from the ground up.
This is an opportunity to join at an early stage, work closely with the founders, and have direct impact on architecture, performance, and product direction.
Responsibilties
- Design and build high-performance backend systems in Go
- Develop components interacting with endpoints and security layers
- Build scalable data collection and processing mechanisms
- Take full ownership of features - from design to production
- Collaborate closely with founders and senior engineers
- Contribute to architecture decisions as the system evolves
Requirments
- 3+ years of backend development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Go (or significant Python experience with willingness to transition to Go)
- Experience building systems that run on endpoints / low-level environments - advantage
- Background in cybersecurity, EDR, or endpoint security - strong advantage
- Proven record of measurable impact in previous roles (e.g., performance improvements, feature ownership, scalability improvements, business impact)
- Experience in startup environments or high-ownership roles
- Independent, proactive, and comfortable taking responsibility
- Strong communication skills and low ego
