Director of Data & AI

A prominent player in the Israeli Automotive sector is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead its data transformation. As the group evolves into a data-driven powerhouse, this role will own the entire Data & AI strategy, bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and core business operations.

The group is investing heavily in AI to optimize performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

The company's headquarters are located in Central Israel and offer a hybrid work model with one day of remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Strategic Leadership: Defining and executing the end-to-end Data & AI roadmap for the entire group.
• Team Building: Recruiting, mentoring, and managing a multidisciplinary team of Engineers, Scientists, and Analysts.
• AI & ML Implementation: Driving the adoption of Machine Learning solutions to solve complex business challenges and create predictive models.
• Data Infrastructure: Overseeing the group's data architecture, including Data Warehouse (DWH) design and BI systems.
• Business-Tech Translation: Partnering with executive leadership to translate business needs into scalable technological solutions.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional experience in the Data domain, with at least 4 years in a senior management role – Mandatory.
• Proven track record of leading AI/ML projects within large-scale organizations – Mandatory.
• Deep technical command of Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and leading BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) – Mandatory.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to bridge the gap between technical execution and business value.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field – Mandatory.
• Experience in the Automotive or high-volume Retail sectors – Significant Advantage.
