ISRAEL-is is an international organization working to improve Israel’s global image by amplifying authentic Israeli voices and building personal connections between young Israelis and key audiences worldwide.

As part of the Global Division, the International Engagement Programs Manager holds one of the most impactful roles in the organization, with overall responsibility for the Engagement and broad exposure pillar.

The role focuses on leading our flagship BICEP program in the U.S., alongside managing the RoW (Rest of World) delegation portfolio (Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Australia). This position combines strategic leadership, cultural adaptation of innovative models (such as integrating survivors and VR), and complex global operations—connecting Israel’s story with tens of thousands of young people on campuses and in communities around the world.

• Lead the division’s engagement and delegation operations end-to-end: from strategic planning and budget management to content development and execution of high-impact delegations.
• Lead the flagship program (BICEP): full ownership of the strategic program in North America—from annual planning through delivery—including relationship management with major partners (Hillel, Chabad, Student Unions).
• Manage the global RoW delegation portfolio: cross-cutting responsibility for Global Division delegations outside the U.S.; identifying opportunities, developing local partnerships, and adapting the narrative (cultural adaptation) to each destination’s language and culture.
• Content innovation: integrate unique delegation models, including storytelling workshops, VR technologies, and survivor testimonies (including former captives) to deepen impact.
• Operational and budget management: manage the Engagement pillar budget (annual and project-based), negotiate with international vendors, and run operations across multiple time zones.
• Data and measurement: systematic data collection, feedback management, and lessons learned to continuously improve the model and replicate successes.
• Leading emerging opportunities: initiate and manage ad-hoc projects and strategic “unexpected” initiatives—from concept to on-the-ground execution.

• Global program management experience: proven experience managing international educational/community programs and complex operations—mandatory.
• Familiarity with the U.S. arena: deep understanding of campus life, the American Jewish community, and the ecosystem of organizations operating within it.
• Excellent English: outstanding verbal and written communication—mandatory. Additional languages (Spanish/French) are a significant advantage for RoW activity.
• Cultural sensitivity: demonstrated ability to develop and adapt content for diverse audiences and cultures.
• Proficiency with management tools: high-level skills in Excel, Monday.com, and Google Workspace.
• Big-picture thinking with strong attention to detail: ability to see the big picture without missing logistical details.
• Agility: ability to switch quickly between different cultural/time-zone arenas (e.g., Europe in the morning, U.S. in the evening).
• Excellent interpersonal communication: ability to collaborate and mobilize a wide range of partners, vendors, and internal teams.
• Proactivity: strong initiative, ownership, and a constant drive to solve problems.
• Mission-driven: genuine passion for Israel’s story and a desire to lead meaningful change.

כחלק מחטיבת הגלובל, מנהל/ת תוכניות הקשרים הבינלאומיים מחזיק/ה באחד התפקידים המשפיעים ביותר בארגון: אחריות כוללת על ציר ה-Engagement והחשיפה הרחבה. 

התפקיד מתמקד בהובלת תוכנית הדגל BICEP בארה"ב, לצד ניהול מערך משלחות RoW (אירופה, אמל"ט, אפריקה ואוסטרליה). זהו תפקיד המשלב ניהול אסטרטגי, פיצוח והתאמה תרבותית של מודלים חדשניים (כגון שילוב שורדים ו-VR), וניהול אופרציה גלובלית מורכבת במטרה לחבר את הסיפור הישראלי לעשרות אלפי צעירים בקמפוסים ובקהילות ברחבי העולם .

תחומי אחריות 

להוביל את מערך הקשרים והמשלחות של החטיבה מקצה לקצה: מתכנון אסטרטגי וניהול תקציב, ועד לפיצוח תוכן והוצאה לפועל של משלחות שמשנות תודעה.

• הובלת תוכנית הדגל (BICEP): ניהול כולל של התוכנית האסטרטגית בזירת צפון אמריקה – מתכנון שנתי ועד ביצוע, כולל ניהול הקשר מול שותפי ענק (Hillel, Chabad, Student Unions) .
• ניהול מערך משלחות עולמי (RoW): אחריות רוחבית על משלחות החטיבה מחוץ לארה"ב. איתור הזדמנויות, פיתוח שותפויות מקומיות והתאמת הנרטיב (Cultural Adaptation) לתרבות ולשפה של כל מדינת יעד .
• חדשנות בתוכן: אינטגרציה של מודלים ייחודיים במשלחות, כולל סדנאות Storytelling, טכנולוגיות VR ושילוב עדויות של שורדי שבי להעמקת האימפקט.
• ניהול אופרטיבי ותקציבי: ניהול תקציב ציר ה-Engagement (שנתי ופרויקטלי), ניהול מו"מ מול ספקים בינלאומיים וניהול אופרציה בסביבה מרובת אזורי זמן .
• דאטה ומדידה: איסוף נתונים שיטתי, ניהול משובים והפקת לקחים לשיפור מתמיד של המודל ושכפול הצלחות.
• ניהול הזדמנויות מתפרצות: הובלה וניהול של פרויקטים אד-הוק ויוזמות "בלת"מ" אסטרטגיות משלב הרעיון ועד הביצוע בשטח .

דרישות התפקיד

• ניסיון בניהול תוכניות גלובליות: ניסיון מוכח בניהול תוכניות חינוכיות/קהילתיות בזירה הבינלאומית וניהול אופרציה מורכבת – חובה .
• היכרות עם הזירה האמריקאית: הבנה מעמיקה של עולם הקמפוסים, הקהילה היהודית בארה"ב והארגונים הפועלים בה.
• אנגלית ברמה גבוהה מאוד: יכולת התנסחות מעולה בעל-פה ובכתב – חובה. שפות נוספות (ספרדית/צרפתית) – יתרון משמעותי לפעילות RoW.
• רגישות תרבותית: יכולת מוכחת בפיתוח והתאמת תוכן לקהלים מגוונים ולתרבויות שונות.
• שליטה בכלי ניהול: מיומנות גבוהה ב-Excel, Monday ו-Google Workspace.
• ראייה רחבה וירידה לפרטים: יכולת לראות את התמונה הגדולה (Big Picture) מבלי לפספס אף פרט לוגיסטי בדרך.
• גמישות מחשבתית (Agility): יכולת "זגזוג" מהירה בין זירות תרבותיות שונות (למשל: בוקר אירופה, ערב ארה"ב).
• תקשורת בין-אישית מעולה: יכולת רתימה ועבודה הרמונית מול מגוון שותפים, ספקים וצוותים פנימיים.
• פרואקטיביות: "ראש גדול", יוזמה וחתירה מתמדת לפתרון בעיות.
• חיבור לשליחות: תשוקה אמיתית לסיפור הישראלי ורצון להוביל שינוי.
