An early-stage Deep-Tech startup is revolutionizing the semiconductor industry by developing an AI-powered platform for rapid chip construction. Their mission is to automate and accelerate the silicon design process, drastically reducing time-to-market for complex SoCs.

This is a rare, high-impact opportunity to join as a founding technical leader, shaping the company’s core architecture, design methodologies, and engineering culture from the ground up.

The team currently works remotely, with plans to establish an office in Northern Israel as the company scales.

Role Overview:

• Founding Leadership: Defining the core abstractions and architecture of the company’s proprietary silicon construction platform.
• Methodology Design: Establishing modern design and functional verification methodologies, including AI-driven PPA (Power, Performance, Area) feedback loops.
• Hands-on Development: Building the first production-grade block libraries and design-entry environments while remaining an active coder.
• Strategic Ecosystem Growth: Engaging with design partners and strategic EDA relationships to drive product-market fit.
• Team Scaling: Recruiting and mentoring the founding technical team, setting the standard for technical excellence.

Requirements:

• Deep background in Micro-architecture, RTL, and functional verification – Mandatory.
• Proven track record of shipping complex silicon to market (SoCs, IPs, or major subsystems) – Mandatory.
• Experience designing large-scale platforms, frameworks, or internal EDA toolchains – Mandatory.
• Technical credibility within the silicon/semiconductor ecosystem – Mandatory.
• Strong Signals: Experience in both Tier-1 semiconductor companies and early-stage startups.
• Strong Signals: Familiarity with hardware construction languages (e.g., Chisel, ROHD) or AI/ML applied to physical design/modeling.
