The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to own reporting and analytics across our customer base.

This is primarily a customer-facing role.

You will work directly with CFOs, finance teams, and investment professionals to define, build, and maintain mission-critical dashboards and reports inside Hypercore. You'll be working independently, writing SQL daily, and translating complex financial reporting needs into structured, reliable outputs.

In addition to dashboard ownership, you will help shape and improve the analytical data layer that powers reporting.

What You'll Do

1.Own Customer-Facing Reporting.

• Work directly with customers to understand reporting needs
• Translate business and financial requirements into metric definitions
• Build and maintain executive-grade dashboards and recurring reports
• Ensure reporting accuracy through reconciliations and validations
• Become a trusted analytics partner to our clients

2.Write and Maintain SQL-Based Reporting Logic.

• Write complex SQL queries across raw production tables
• Build aggregations, financial calculations, and time-based logic
• Optimize and debug queries
• Maintain and improve existing reporting queries

3.Improve the Reporting Data Layer.

• Identify opportunities to structure and model data for scalability
• Create reusable reporting logic across customers
• Partner with Engineering to improve data structures when needed
• Contribute to building a more scalable analytics foundation over time

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in BI / analytics / data roles
• Strong SQL skills (comfortable writing multi-table joins, aggregations, and window functions)
• Proven experience building production dashboards used by senior stakeholders
• Comfortable working directly with external clients
• Strong communication skills - able to translate technical logic into business language
• High ownership mindset

Strong advantage:

• Experience working with financial data (loans, accruals, cashflows, accounting logic)
• Experience improving data models or ETL workflows
• Experience in fintech or asset management
