Role Overview-
- Leadership: Managing a multi-disciplinary team of 10, including Fullstack Developers, QA, and DevOps.
- Global Management: Direct responsibility for an offshore/distributed team across multiple regions.
- Technical Oversight: Overseeing development in a modern Java 17/21 and React environment, utilizing advanced coding methodologies.
- Management Focus: The role is approximately 10% hands-on, focusing heavily on leadership, architecture, and team growth.
- Collaboration: Reporting to the VP R&D and working with international stakeholders to scale financial products.
Requirements-
- Extensive experience in R&D Management, including the management of offshore/distributed teams.
- Strong professional background in Java development (multi-year).
- Deep expertise with the Spring Framework.
- Significant experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Solid experience in Frontend/Client-side development (React preferred).
- Experience in the Fintech or Financial Services sector – Significant Advantage.
