Exchange Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a highly experienced Exchange & Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and take a key role in managing and advancing our large-scale, hybrid organizational email environment.

Responsibilities:

• Learning and mastering the products and systems managed by the team.
• Executing tasks as part of the team’s quarterly work plan.
• Designing infrastructure architecture for systems under the team’s responsibility.
• Providing guidance and support to development teams.
• Performing ongoing maintenance, supporting projects, and delivering infrastructure implementations.
• Writing scripts for infrastructure needs.
• Conducting performance tests and load analysis.
• Handling complex issues, troubleshooting, and managing production deployments.

Requirements:

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, military technology units background, or advanced professional certifications- required.
• At least 7 years of experience (or equivalent military experience) working with Microsoft-based infrastructure- required.
• Proven experience with Exchange in large enterprise environments and hybrid Exchange Online environments- required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, independently and in collaboration with Microsoft engineering teams.
• Experience performing mailbox migration projects to the cloud.
• Familiarity with backup and monitoring solutions for Exchange environments.
• Proven ability to write advanced PowerShell scripts and automations- required.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 (OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint Online, Power Apps)- required.
• Experience with Dynamics 365- advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft systems: Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS- required.
• Knowledge of additional scripting languages such as Python- advantage.
• Basic understanding of virtualization, server provisioning, and resource configuration- advantage.
