Project Management Team Lead – Defense Industry | Netanya | On-site

A leading and stable defense company in Netanya, operating in the Israeli and international defense and aerospace markets, is seeking a Project Management Team Lead.

This is a key role involving team leadership, direct people management, and responsibility for cross-organizational projects while working with diverse interfaces in Israel and abroad.

The company develops and manufactures rugged engineering solutions in the fields of advanced power supply and communication systems, designed for critical applications operating in challenging field and environmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the PMO team, including direct management and matrix leadership of multiple organizational interfaces.
• Deep understanding of customers, processes, and business needs.
• Prioritize customer requirements, while understanding needs, constraints, and conflicts.
• Define departmental methodologies and specifications based on current and future projects.
• Oversee change control and risk management, identify bottlenecks, and drive problem-solving and prevention.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders internally and externally, in Israel and abroad.
• Track project progress, consolidate data, oversee schedules, budgets, deliverables, and outputs.
• Work with digital tools and systems such as MS Project, Priority, and more.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management – required.
• 4–5 years of experience in project management – required.
• 2–3 years of direct team management experience (Team Lead / Project Managers Lead) – required.
• Experience working in a defense company – required.
• High-level English, including speaking, reading, and writing – required.
• Proven experience leading complex projects, including data consolidation and project tracking – required.
• Hands-on experience with MS Project – required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, high professionalism, teamwork orientation, and the ability to manage and develop employees.
