Senior Backend Engineer

Wanted: Senior Backend Engineer for an innovative AdTech company in Tel Aviv

The chosen candidate will take ownership of backend architecture, lead technical execution, and mentor junior developers while building scalable systems that power AI‑driven products and high‑traffic media platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for AI‑driven products and automated engines

● Architect microservices supporting real‑time data processing and campaign automation

● Mentor junior and remote engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce development standards

● Collaborate with Product and Ad Automation teams to translate business logic into robust backend architecture

● Build and maintain data pipelines, real‑time data flows, and integrations with social platforms (TikTok, Meta, Instagram)

● Troubleshoot production issues across distributed systems and improve reliability and performance

● Drive architectural improvements and scalability strategy, incorporating emerging technologies and AI solutions

Job Requirements:

● 5+ years of experience with Node.js and microservices architecture

● Hands‑on experience with event‑driven systems or data streaming

● Experience with GCP (GKE, BigQuery, Firestore, Vertex AI)

● Strong experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB

● Experience deploying and managing production systems in cloud environments

● Familiarity with Go (GoLang) — strong advantage

● Experience in AdTech — advantage
