The Role: Why this role exists
We are hiring a builder to own and scale Terrific’s SMB revenue motion end-to-end.
We have strong product adoption and market pull. Now we need to turn that momentum into a predictable, scalable revenue engine.
This role exists to design, build, and operate that system.
This is not a maintenance role. This is a creation role.

Impact: What you will build
You will architect and run the full SMB growth engine across product-led growth, outbound sales, and customer lifecycle.
Your work will directly shape:
• How customers enter and activate
• How trials convert into paying customers
• How customers expand and stay long-term
• How Terrific scales globally
You will create the operating cadence, playbooks, and funnel that drive predictable revenue.

Ownership: What you will own
You will own the SMB funnel end-to-end:
Acquisition → Activation → Conversion → Retention → Expansion
Including:
Revenue Engine
• Define ICP, segmentation, and targeting
• Build and scale outbound strategy and sequences
• Own trial-to-paid conversion performance
• Create expansion and lifecycle programs
Team Leadership
• Lead and coach SMB Account Executives
• Hire and develop new team members
• Create playbooks, standards, and operating cadence
Product & Growth Partnership
• Partner with Product and Engineering on onboarding and in-product conversion
• Improve activation and time-to-value
• Translate product usage signals into revenue opportunities
Analytics & Execution
• Own funnel metrics, dashboards, and reporting
• Run weekly pipeline, funnel, and growth reviews
• Identify and execute experiments to improve performance
You will have real ownership and autonomy.

Requirements: What you bring
You have experience building and scaling SMB or PLG revenue in a SaaS environment.
Specifically:
• 6+ years in SaaS sales, growth, or revenue roles
• Experience owning funnel metrics across activation, conversion, and retention
• Experience leading outbound and sales-assist motions
• Experience managing and coaching commercial teams
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with funnel and cohort data
• Experience partnering with product teams on onboarding and growth

• eCommerce or Shopify ecosystem experience
• Experience in PLG-driven companies
• Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Intercom, Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA4, Looker, or similar
