About the role:

As our company crossed the 350 employees mark across Israel, North America, and UK, are scaling our IT operations.

We are looking for an experienced Head of IT to lead our IT team serving the entire company, leading the IT strategy, managing SaaS solutions, embedding IT tools and processes, and leading our information security efforts. This leader will lead a dynamic IT team, moving at light speed, supporting the growth of the Buildots team, implementing new technologies, and doing this while maintaining a high level of security throughout our organization.

In this role, you will grow and lead a talented IT team and be responsible for making our IT operations robust and scalable, and providing world-class experience to the entire company. You will ensure our infrastructure supports our global growth while defining and enforcing the IT and security policies that protect our assets and ensure compliance.

What You Will Do:

• Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the global IT strategy and budgeting, ensuring it aligns with company goals and supports a seamless, high-growth environment.
• Infrastructure & Projects: Lead complex IT projects end-to-end, including the implementation of new SaaS platforms and tools comparison. And managing all of our tech vendors and used SaaS solutions.
• Security & Compliance: Define, implement, and monitor security tools and alerts. Including IdP (Okta), MDM, EDR (Microsoft Defender), and leading IT-related compliance processes such as SOC2 and ISO27001.
• Global Operations: Oversee all IT logistics for our offices in Israel, the UK, and the US, including hardware procurement, vendor management, employee onboarding, and employee support.
• Team Leadership: Grow, manage, and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence, proactive problem-solving, and a "service-first" mindset.
• Automation & Efficiency: Identify and implement automation for manual IT processes (onboarding/offboarding, permissions) to improve organizational efficiency.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in IT roles, with at least 2 years of experience leading an IT department in a global high-tech company (200+ employees).
• Experience supporting remote teams.
• A strong passion for providing a world-class employee experience and building seamless IT processes.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace and Okta.
• Experience implementing, managing, and monitoring security tools, including MDM, EDR, and other managed solutions
• Experience designing and implementing organizational IT processes such as support, procurement, vendor approval, tools implementation, and similar
• Motivation to grow, learn, and think outside the box
• Open-minded and a team player
