A leading defense company is seeking a Mechanical designer
📍 Rehovot
This role is ideal for highly capable engineers at the beginning of their career who demonstrate excellence, strong analytical abilities, and a passion for working on cutting‑edge defense technologies.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Mechanical design of complex systems in the fields of electro‑optics and opto‑mechanics
- Design of precision motion systems and electronic packaging
- Working with **SolidWorks** and preparation of drawings in accordance with tolerances
- Creation of Bills of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation in **PLM** systems
- Design of highly complex fixtures for integrated systems
- Close collaboration with development, integration, and manufacturing teams
**Requirements:**
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory (M.Sc. is an advantage)
- Experience in mechanical design of systems and mechanisms
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, casting, sheet metal bending
- Advantage for experience in opto‑mechanics and mechanisms
- Proficiency in **SolidWorks** and **PLM** systems
