Cyber Threat Researcher

We are seeking a Cyber Threat Researcher for a government organization located in central Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Performing forensic research and network research
• Handling and responding to cyber incidents
• Monitoring networks and components and identifying attacks that were not detected by organizational defense systems
• Assisting in the characterization and establishment of deception environments and honeypots
• Developing applications and investigative and automation tools in the cyber domain
• Creating early warnings and enriching intelligence on attack tactics, techniques, and tools

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience as a Cyber Threat Researcher
• Research experience in at least two of the following domains: forensic research, network research, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response (IR), penetration testing, Big Data research
• Experience developing tools and writing scripts in Python / PowerShell / Bash and familiarity with Linux and Windows
• Advanced knowledge of data communications, protocols, network architecture, and information security
• Experience extracting insights from technological intelligence information and working in a research team
