SecOps Engineer (Hands-on & Incident Response)

Role Description

We are looking for a sharp SecOps Consultant to join our team of experts.

In this role, you will be the "professional spearhead" for our clients – ranging from high-growth tech startups to leading global organizations. This is an Embedded-Consultancy position: you won’t just be advising on paper; you’ll be getting your hands dirty within our clients' environments. You will manage security incidents, build robust security architectures, and harden complex environments from end to end. 

What You Will Do

• Incident Response & Hunting: Handle real-time security incidents at client sites, perform deep-dive investigations, and neutralize threats.
• Cloud & SaaS Hardening: Implement and strengthen security controls across M365, Google Workspace, AWS/Azure, and Okta environments.
• Layer 7 & Apps: Implement Layer 7 defenses, manage WAFs, and handle operational Application Security.
• Security Stack Management: Deploy and operate best-of-breed security tools (Upwind, Sentinel, Rapid7, Wiz, and more).
• Vulnerability Management: Lead scanning processes, prioritize findings, and guide clients through the actual remediation phase.
• Strategic-Technical Consulting: Bridge the gap between Penetration Testing (PT) findings and practical defensive improvements on the ground. 

Qualifications (Must Have)

• Professional Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a SecOps / Security Engineer / IR specialist.
• Consultancy/MSSP Experience: A significant advantage for those who have worked with multiple clients or diverse environments simultaneously.
• Cloud & SaaS Expertise: Proven experience in deep hardening of M365 / Google Workspace / AWS environments.
• Application Understanding: Strong grasp of Layer 7 Security and communication protocols.
• Hands-on Capability: You "live" in the console, know how to analyze logs, and can perform complex configurations independently.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in front of CISOs and R&D teams at the client site.
