DevOps Tech Lead

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to upgrade our infrastructure capabilities. In this position, you will drive key architectural choices, enhance system reliability, and increase deployment velocity. We need someone who is comfortable bridging the gap between platform operations and application coding—building solutions rather than just maintaining them.

What You Will Do

• Develop and expand a scalable multi-cloud environment (focusing on AWS, supported by GCP & Azure) that grows alongside our gaming products.
• Champion architectural strategies that prioritize system stability, security, and budget efficiency, including proactive FinOps and capacity management.
• Take charge of CI/CD processes: accelerate pipelines, implement safe rollout strategies like blue-green and canary, and refine our ephemeral environment systems.
• Establish standard GitOps practices (using ArgoCD) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) across all engineering teams.
• Manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters, ensuring full automation for deployments, failovers, and system migrations.
• Enhance observability (tracing, logs, metrics) and implement SRE methodologies, managing incident responses and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with data and backend engineers on Kafka and Airflow workloads, as well as complex system migrations.
• Integrate modern AI tools into your daily workflow to maximize efficiency and output quality.
  
  

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles, specifically managing large-scale production systems.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with AWS, along with working knowledge of GCP and Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, and GitOps workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to design and run CI/CD pipelines, including rollback mechanisms, versioning, and progressive delivery (canary/blue-green).
• Proficiency in writing high-quality production code (using languages like Python, .NET, or Go).
• Solid understanding of cloud cost management, security standards, reliability engineering, and system observability.
• An ownership mentality with strong communication skills and a natural drive to automate manual tasks.
