Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) – Leading FinTech Company | Israel

A leading FinTech company is seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer to lead and own the entire information security function.

This is a senior executive role with full responsibility for cybersecurity strategy, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and security operations in a regulated financial environment.

♦ Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business objectives

♦ Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and oversee incident response management

♦ Serve as the primary point of contact with Israeli regulators (Capital Market Authority and Privacy Protection Authority)

♦ Manage and mentor a large information security team, including middle management

♦ Lead security governance in vendor and third-party engagements

♦ Oversee implementation of advanced security technologies and hybrid cloud security architecture

♦ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field

♦ 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity and information security

♦ 3-5 years in senior leadership roles in information security

♦ Proven experience managing large teams, including managers

♦ Deep familiarity with Israeli financial regulations and regulatory bodies

♦ Strong expertise in security architecture, risk management, and governance frameworks

♦ Hands-on experience with SIEM, DLP, IAM and enterprise security solutions

♦ Strong knowledge of cloud security and hybrid environments

♦ Experience in the financial/FinTech sector – strong advantage

♦ Master’s degree (MBA or Information Systems) – significant advantage

♦ CISSP

♦ CISM

♦ CRISC

♦ Additional cybersecurity certifications

This position requires proven executive-level experience within a regulated financial environment in Israel. Applications without relevant regulatory and leadership background will not be considered.
