Vice President Operations

We are seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead and scale end-to-end operations in a complex manufacturing and technology-driven environment.

This role is responsible for translating business and customer requirements into operational excellence, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, cost control, and speed to market across a high-mix, low-volume product portfolio.

The VP Operations will oversee manufacturing, EMS partners, supply chain, logistics, and operational infrastructure, working closely with the COO, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams to support growth in defense and communication technology markets, while meeting stringent regulatory, quality, and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead company-wide operations, from supply chain and manufacturing through delivery and product lifecycle.
• Translate company strategy and customer commitments into scalable operational execution
• Ensure operations meet defense sector standards, quality requirements, and regulatory obligations
• Ensure operational readiness to support fast TTM, new product introductions (NPI), and evolving customer demands.
• Enhancing productivity NPI to HVM, rapid scaling ramp up to mass production, supporting the company’s growth by within multiple sites
• Lead and improve RMA process and KPI’s
• Lead and optimize manufacturing and external EMS / full turnkey partners, Manage supplier relationships
• Drive alignment across production planning, materials, quality, and delivery
• Ensure operational excellence in high-mix, low-volume production environments
• Balance inventory levels, cost, and service to meet customer and program requirements
• Partner closely with Quality and Engineering to support audits, certifications, and compliance
• Establish and track KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics (OTD, yield, cost reductions, inventory, TTM)
• Drive tight collaboration between Operations, R&D, Project Management, Sales, Finance, and Quality
• Support NPI, engineering changes, and product lifecycle transitions
• Build, mentor, and lead operations, supply chain, and manufacturing teams
• Scale the organization to support growth without compromising speed or quality

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of senior experience in Operations, from which at least 4 years in Electro-mechanic Manufacturing.
• Proven leadership in manufacturing / EMS / full turnkey environments
• Experience working with high-mix, low-volume products
• Strong understanding of supply chain, planning, and operational execution
• Experience working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in defense, aerospace, or regulated technology sectors
• Background in communication technology, hardware, or complex systems
• Experience supporting fast TTM and NPI-heavy organizations
• Experience scaling operations in a growth or transformation phase
