Robotic Imaging is the operating system inside the largest retailers in the United States. We power facility intelligence for enterprise portfolios spanning 10,000+ locations and 500,000+ assets. Our platform turns raw building data into actionable AI insights that drive capital planning, compliance, and operational decisions at scale.

We are eight engineers building for dozens of enterprise clients. Our Tel Aviv office is a critical hub for technical leadership, and this role sits at the center of our engineering strategy.

🔧 The Role

We're looking for a senior full-stack engineer to serve as a technical anchor for our platform. You will own architecture decisions, lead the build-out of our AI-powered query interface, and work across the full stack — from Supabase/PostgreSQL data modeling to React frontend components.

You'll collaborate daily with a senior backend engineer in Islamabad (3-hour timezone gap, 6 hours of overlap), coordinate with our US and Latin America teams on product priorities, and have significant influence over technical direction. This is a high-autonomy role where you'll shape how enterprise clients interact with half a million assets through natural language.

🛠️ What You'll Own

• Lead the architecture and technical direction of our AI Chat platform — the primary interface through which enterprise clients query their facilities data

• Design the full NL2SQL pipeline: intent recognition, schema-aware query generation, response formatting, and conversational state management

• Own the Supabase/PostgreSQL data layer — schema design, performance optimization, and scaling strategy for 500K+ records

• Build and ship full-stack features across the platform, from backend services to React UI

• Mentor and collaborate with a senior engineer in Islamabad; provide technical guidance and code review

• Drive engineering best practices: code quality, testing, CI/CD, and operational excellence

📋 What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a strong backend foundation

• Expert-level PostgreSQL — advanced query optimization, indexing, and data modeling at scale. Supabase experience is ideal

• Production experience building LLM-powered applications: API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic), structured output, NL2SQL or RAG systems

• Strong frontend skills in React/TypeScript for building data-rich interfaces

• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript; Go is a plus

• System design expertise — you've designed and shipped distributed services, not just contributed to them

• Experience leading or mentoring engineers, even informally

• Excellent communication for a distributed, async-first team spanning US, Israel, Brazil, Chile, and Pakistan
