About the Job

As FD / Head of Finance, you will act as a key strategic partner to the Business Unit Leader and Senior Leadership Team, taking full ownership of financial performance, forecasting and compliance. This is a highly visible role requiring strong commercial insight, technical expertise and the confidence to challenge and influence at senior level. You will lead the finance function while driving operational improvements and strengthening financial governance across the business unit.

Duties will include:

• Partnering with senior leaders to develop business plans and deliver sustainable growth
• Owning quarterly forecasting processes and ensuring high levels of forecast accuracy
• Producing insightful management information, analysing key performance indicators and presenting findings to stakeholders
• Identifying operational improvements and overseeing delivery of performance enhancement initiatives
• Ensuring contract terms and project bids align with corporate and financial governance requirements
• Overseeing all core finance operations including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, treasury and financial close
• Ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and tax requirements across relevant jurisdictions
• Leading revenue recognition processes in line with IFRS standards
• Managing audit processes and addressing internal and external audit queries
• Driving improvements in working capital, return on invested capital and overall operational efficiency
• Reviewing and strengthening risk management processes and financial controls
• Leading, mentoring and developing the finance team, supporting succession planning and talent development

About the Successful Applicant

You will be a qualified accountant (CPA) with over five years’ post-qualification experience, including senior finance leadership exposure. A strong technical grounding in IFRS, particularly revenue recognition, is essential. You will bring advanced Excel capability, experience of ERP systems, and a hands-on approach. Commercially astute and highly organised, you are confident influencing senior stakeholders and managing teams in fast-paced, multi-entity environments.
