CISO-Chief Information Security Officer

Fluent Technologies is a leading system integrator and hosting provider specializing in ultra-low-latency solutions for the financial industry. We are looking for a CISO to lead our security strategy, secure our high-performance On-prem Linux infrastructure, and ensure compliance with global financial regulations.

This is a full-time, On-site position located in our Jerusalem office

Responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s cybersecurity strategy and compliance programs.
• Secure and harden On-prem Linux environments (physical & virtualized).
• Manage security reviews, requirements documentation, and customer questionnaires.
• Oversee risk assessments, threat modeling, and incident response.
• Maintain security controls (Firewalls, IDS, Encryption) while balancing performance and low-latency needs.
• Partner with IT, DevOps, and Legal to integrate security across the business.
  
  

• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong background in Linux OS hardening and On-prem infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, Multicast) and encryption (SSL/TLS) in high-performance environments.
• Practical experience leading ISO 27001 and SOC2 certifications.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR and DORA.
• CISO Certification (or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Fluent English (Written and Verbal) – Mandatory.
  
  

• Experience in the Financial Services or FinTech industry.
• Familiarity with virtualization security (KVM, VMware).
• Hands-on knowledge of Tier-1 Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto).
• Familiarity with Public Cloud security (GCP, AWS/EC2).
