Manufacturing Hardware Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Hardware Engineer to join our production and industrialization team.

If you enjoy bridging R&D and manufacturing, taking complex electronic hardware from design to mass production, and working in high-reliability aerospace environments – this role is for you.

Job Description:

• Support development, optimization, and production of electronic hardware systems

• Design and implement manufacturing processes for boards and hardware assemblies

• Work closely with R&D to ensure manufacturability and smooth product transfer to production

• Lead DFX activities including DFM, DFA, and DFT

• Create and maintain production documentation (BOMs, Gerbers, assembly instructions)

• Monitor production, analyze issues, and drive quality and efficiency improvements

• Handle EOL component replacement and ensure production continuity

• Troubleshoot hardware issues in manufacturing environments

• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or related field

• 7+ years of experience in hardware manufacturing or production-oriented hardware roles

• Strong experience with schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection

• Hands-on experience with eCAD tools (Altium, OrCAD, or similar)

• Experience generating full production files for PCB fabrication and assembly

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and production equipment

• Familiarity with quality standards (ISO, IPC)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in aerospace or high-reliability hardware environments

• Background in EMI/RFI mitigation and hardware validation

• Experience working closely with production lines and subcontractors

• Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
