This is a rare opportunity to join a running startup in a critical time and position. You will join a small but powerful R&D team that is ambitious and dynamic. What You'll Do:

• Lead and grow Stream Security’s Platform team, combining hands-on technical leadership with mentorship, hiring, and people development.
• Own the design, implementation, and evolution of the company’s platform infrastructure, with direct impact on scalability, reliability, and developer experience.
• Work closely with Product and R&D to define platform requirements and deliver secure, production-grade solutions.
• Drive end-to-end ownership of platform delivery, including architecture, CI/CD, observability, and production readiness.
• Ensure high availability and operational excellence through monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Build internal platforms and tooling that enable engineering and customer-facing teams to move fast and safely.
  
  

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor engineers, give clear feedback, influence without authority, and collaborate effectively across teams.
• 1+ years of experience managing a Platform / DevOps team in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Platform / DevOps engineer operating production systems.
• 1+ years of software development experience using a high-level language (Python or Go – advantage).
• Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including networking, Helm charts, and autoscaling.
• Strong experience with a major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent).
• Solid background in Linux administration and Bash scripting.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
• Experience working with databases (Aurora RDS is an advantage).
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog.
• Strong ownership mindset, ability to operate with ambiguity, and willingness to get hands-on when needed.
  
  

• Experience building internal platforms or self-service tooling for engineering teams.
• Background in high-scale or distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud security best practices (IAM, secrets management, least privilege).
• Familiarity with startup growth challenges — scaling systems, teams, and processes.
• Experience in cloud integrations.
• Experience leading incident response and running blameless postmortems.
• Previous work in security or cybersecurity products.
