Linux RT Software Engineer (C/C++) - Yehud Area

We are looking for an experienced Linux RT Software Engineer to join a hybrid hardware-software lab working on advanced satellite-related systems. The role focuses on developing a C/C++ Linux RT environment for a hardware-software simulator used to test airborne mission computers.

This is not a typical embedded role - it is deep Linux work in both User Space and Kernel Space, including driver development, hardware integration, and system-level validation in a complex real-time environment.

What You’ll Do

Develop C/C++ software on Linux RT platforms

Work in both Kernel Space and User Space

Develop and integrate Linux drivers

Build and maintain a hardware-software simulator environment

Integrate with hardware boards and communication protocols

Perform system integration, debugging, and validation

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team in a hands-on lab environment

Must-Have Requirements

B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

5+ years of experience developing in C/C++ on Linux

Strong experience with Linux RT / Real-Time systems

Hands-on experience developing or working with Linux drivers

Deep understanding of Kernel Space and User Space

Experience working with POSIX

Strong Makefile experience
