The opportunity

The senior director of modernization and global finance operations will be a key strategic leader responsible for evaluation and driving recommendations and execution of modernization initiatives and for developing and analyzing strategic and operational cross company financial performance.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

• Drive evaluation, prioritization and execution of modernization initiatives in partnership with the transformation and strategy office
• Partner, lead, collaborate and consolidate financial performance for actual and forecast measures across the company modernization programs for short and long term.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Manage financial and business performance by developing appropriate metrics to measure performance, monitor variances to forecasts, and develop action plans to address variances.
• Analyze operational performance metrics and KPI’s to identify areas for improvements in Balance Sheet, P&L and CF as well cost optimization across all functions.
• Prepare and present to senior management, highlighting key trends and opportunities.
  
  

Your Experience And Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or related field. MBA preferred
• At least 10 years of financial experience with specific experience in Commercial, Operations and R&D finance
• Experience in driving transformation across large, complex corporate cross company processes
• Demonstrated leadership skills leading teams and influencing stakeholders globally
• Excellent interpersonal skills, decisive and resilient
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
• Changeable and flexible. Thrive while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Able to handle pressure/deadlines
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a multinational, matrixed organization, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
