Backend / Full-Stack Developer – Node.js / MongoDB
We run an AI-powered guest communication platform for hotels and hospitality businesses. The product handles messaging automation across WhatsApp, Instagram, and web — from pre-arrival through checkout. We have an established customer base and a production system that processes thousands of conversations daily. We need another developer on the team.
The work:
Building and maintaining a Node.js/Express backend with MongoDB
Connecting to third-party APIs
Working with AI APIs to power chatbot and automation flows
Background job processing and message queues
Database performance — query optimization, indexing, handling large collections
GraphQL integration
Stack:
Node.js, Express, MongoDB
React, Redux, Tailwind
AWS, Docker
Various messaging and business APIs
Looking for:
Solid Node.js and MongoDB experience (you should know your way around aggregation pipelines and indexes)
Comfortable reading and working in a large existing codebase — not starting from scratch
Experience integrating with external APIs
Can work independently, figure things out, and make reasonable calls
React experience is an advantage — frontend work is part of the job
