Production Manager

Meprolight, a leading company in the electro-optics industry, specializing in the development and manufacturing of advanced systems for defense and security forces in Israel and worldwide, is seeking a Production Manager.

Job Description

• Full responsibility for managing the plant’s production operations
• Ensuring achievement of production output, quality, and delivery schedule targets
• Managing team leaders and production employees, including mentoring and professional development
• Daily collaboration with Production Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Logistics departments
• Leading continuous improvement processes, efficiency initiatives, and implementation of Lean methodologies
• Responsibility for workplace safety and compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Handling production malfunctions, analyzing deviations, and providing real-time solutions

Job Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in production management within an industrial manufacturing environment, including management of team leaders
• Proven experience in electro-optics or other advanced technological industries
• Strong understanding of production planning, manufacturing engineering, and quality processes
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate employees in a dynamic, multi-interface environment
• Experience in leading continuous improvement and production line optimization initiatives
• Ability to read technical drawings and familiarity with precision assembly processes – significant advantage
• Relevant education (Industrial Engineering / Practical Engineer) – advantage
• Ability to work under pressure, with strong organizational and planning skills
