Image Processing Algorithm Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an Image Processing Algorithm Developer to take a central role in a strategic project for the State of Israel, developing advanced image processing algorithms based on space imagery, for the design and development of the next-generation observation satellites at Israel Aerospace Industries.

The role includes:

• Developing image processing algorithms for a variety of sensors across multiple wavelengths.
• Being part of the camera and satellite development team at the system level.
• Conducting performance studies to evaluate algorithms and solve calibration challenges.
• Implementing and testing algorithms in operational systems and laboratory environments.

Requirements

• BSc in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Software Engineering – required.
• At least 3 years of experience in image processing algorithm development – required.
• Experience with calibration algorithm development – required.
• Experience with development tools such as MATLAB, Python, C – required.
• Experience performing physical analyses and writing algorithms – required.
• Familiarity with STK and satellite orbits – advantage.
• MSc or higher – advantage.
